My name is Colleen Callahan, and I’m not a career politician—never have been and never will be. What I have done and will continue to do is give a voice to those who,all too often, aren't heard. During my 30-year career as a farm broadcaster on both radio and TV, I’ve served as a voice for those in Central Illinois who didn’t feel they had one. Now, I feel that I can use my voice of experience to proudly represent our communities in Congress.
True to a Callahan family tradition, I’m running for Congress to help people. Rather than focus on becoming a career politician and advancing my own interests, I hope to use the office to become a public servant, making sure the voices of the people of the Illinois 18th District are heard in Washington.
It’s time for the interests of Central Illinois to be met and time to work for change.
Today, I ask for your support to help me become your next Congresswoman. If you’d like to get personally involved in the campaign, please click here for volunteer information, click here for contact information or click here to contribute.
